Bravo
In marine terminology, “Bravo” is the phonetic term for the letter “B” in the International Code of Signals. It is used to communicate messages between vessels or between vessels and shore stations. Each letter in the International Code of Signals is assigned a specific meaning or message, and “Bravo” is specifically used to indicate “I am taking in, discharging, or carrying dangerous goods.”

Nautical or signal flags are used at sea to convey messages over long distances. Only black, blue, red, white and yellow are used because these are the only colours readily distinguished at sea. Many different coding schemes have been used, but the International Code is the most common.
